Vancouver native Taylor Tai is a stunt performer, actor and action professional whose combination of martial arts, movement and screen-fighting skills has taken him across an impressive range of film and television productions. Taylor joined the Hitz International family in 2023, bringing with him years of experience in the stunt industry.
Taylor’s specialty skills include Muay Thai, Taekwondo, parkour and weapons training—a versatile foundation that has helped him tackle everything from intricate fight choreography to demanding physical action for the screen.
His credits include major productions such as Deadpool, Star Trek Beyond and War for the Planet of the Apes, where he worked as a stunt performer. His television work has also included projects such as Halo, Batwoman, Van Helsing, Arrow, Wu Assassins and Warrior.
Beyond stunt performance, Taylor's background in martial arts and fight work reflects the versatility increasingly required of modern action performers—combining athletic ability, timing, character performance and an understanding of how action translates to camera.
From superhero blockbusters and science-fiction epics to martial-arts-driven television, Taylor Tai continues to build an exciting and diverse body of work as part of the Hitz International team.
