PREDATOR: BADLANDS is finally here

Predator: Badlands marks an exciting new chapter in the iconic franchise—and behind its visceral, blade-sharp action is the work of Fight Coordinator Vincent Bouillon, whose expertise helped define the film’s physical language.

Bouillon, a French stunt performer and martial artist, has built his career on dynamic movement, inventive choreography, and a deep understanding of how physical storytelling supports character and plot. With a background spanning traditional martial arts, extreme tricking, and cinematic stunt work, he brings a unique hybrid style to the screen.

On Predator: Badlands, Bouillon worked alongside Stunt Coordinator Jacob Tomuri to develop the film’s intense, grounded, and culturally inspired combat sequences. His approach goes far beyond designing choreography—he trains actors to move like their characters. For this film, that meant putting the lead performer through rigorous weapon conditioning, including practicing with deliberately heavy training swords so that on-set blades felt effortless and instinctive. The result: movement that feels fluid, instinctive, and believable, even in the hands of a non-human protagonist.

Bouillon’s contribution adds depth to Badlands by grounding its sci-fi spectacle in real physical stakes. His work helps the audience feel every strike, weight shift, and moment of struggle—making the action not just exciting, but emotionally connected to the story.

As the Predator universe evolves, so does the craft behind it—and Vincent Bouillon is one of the creative forces pushing that evolution forward.
